The Antinori family has been making wine for over six hundred years, since Giovanni di Piero Antinori became part of the Arte Fiorentina dei Vinattieri in 1385. Throughout its long history, spanning 26 generations, the family has always personally managed the business making innovative, sometimes courageous choices, always with unwavering respect for tradition and the land. Spectacular Brunello, Chianti, Vino Nobile, Super-Tuscans, wines from Southern Italy and Umbria will be featured in a unique setting. Unlike our normal seated seminar format of most weeknight events, todays will be an open house, with representatives from Antinori on hand to answer your questions. This is a rare opportunity to taste Antinori's most recent vintages from their 5 different estates. Join us in sampling over 30 different wines. Your hosts will be Lance Montalto and Antinori representatives. 2006 Brunello, 2008 & 2009 Chianti, Super Tuscans and other fantastic wines from Tuscany, Umbria, Piedmont and Puglia will be showcased! Passed Hors D'oeuvres throughout the event. |
