An exhibit in the honor of Marilyn Monroe is making its first stop of a world tour on the legendary Queen Mary in Long Beach. It will feature priceless objects that were part of her life and now, for the first time, will be shared with the public.
The blueprint for this exhibit began over 24 months ago and has been made possible by the combined efforts of three organizations, the estate of Marilyn Monroe, Marilyn Monroe Exhibits (Mr. Bob Otto, Chairman and CEO) and CMG Worldwide, Inc. The goal of the partners was to create an exhibition that tells the story of Marilyn Monroe that will reveal the impact of her as a legendary movie star, pop star, celebrity and international icon. The partners sought to do much more: The high-impact exhibit will allow an extraordinary opportunity to learn about Marilyn, the person, including her childhood, in order to understand why her legacy continues to be important to so many people.
Please show up at or before 12:30pm so we'll all get the opportunity to meet our fellow MyPC members. You might be interested in getting here earlier if you would like to walk around the Queen Mary or simply want to admire the majestic view of the Pacific Ocean.
