San Francisco is abuzz with a wealth of new shopping and entertainment options and many partygoers have been busy rushing from one opening to the next.
As part of the expansion of the San Francisco Centre, Elle Magazine celebrated the launch of Neda, a new shoe and handbag boutique, with an intimate luncheon at the sparkling new Burke Williams spa. The lunch was hosted by Neda Mashouf, vice chair of bebe's board of directors and the personality behind Neda. Guests included Tatiana and Katya Sorokko, Elle Magazine's west coast editor Lilah Schechner, and Michael Smuin, founder and director of the Smuin Ballet.
And speaking of ballet, the Encore group of the San Francisco Ballet
recently hosted a cocktail party at Slide, the hot new club just off Union Square. Encore president Stephanie Russell welcomed guests to the event, many of whom took the plunge and zipped down the club's slide. Now that's making an entrance. Guests enjoyed libations compliments of Maker's Mark while the DJ spun sexy beats. On-hand for the event were Gregg Mattner, Jeff Atlas, John Kerns, Andrea Skor, Cristina Robinson, Kim Darin, Carol Benz, and Dana Marie Sanchez, as well as the San Francisco Ballet's Don Brown and Jayson Johnson.
