In true San Francisco tradition, the Bachelors and the Spinsters held back-to-back events to kick off the fall party season.
The Bachelors of San Francisco returned to the scene of the crime with the annual Cocktails on Maiden Lane event. Hundreds of guests converged on historic Maiden Lane to enjoy a late-summer evening and to socialize under the stars while window shopping and enjoying a cocktail or two.
The Bistro 69 burgers were a big hit, according to Bachelor's president Erik Davis. Eric also pointed out the the "Recall Davis" campaign has nothing to do with his second term as Bachelors president. Board members on hand for the party included Joseph Lucier, George Hume, Branden Mello, Byron Topol, Michael Downing, Jody Harris, and Michael Ero. Also enjoying the evening were Patrick and Melissa Barber, Jeff Atlas, and Alexa Harnett.
A few days later, the Spinsters of San Francisco hosted an unforgettable charity bash at the Bubble Lounge. The evening was also a kick off for the club's 74th year and raised more than $10,000, according to president Lisa Ligon. Several of the Spinsters were dressed to impress in outfits by Femme, a fun boutique on Van Ness.
Spinster board members in attendance included Dana Marie Sanchez, Elizabeth Conrady, Andrea Skor and Morgan Keller. Guests danced the night away with tunes to DJ David Gwynn and enjoyed cocktails with Absolute Vanilla and treats by Cabaret Chocolates. How sweet it is! |
